Yes, I have. And I've deleted a lot of my posts here on my blog, so it kind of looks like months or years apart posts, but no. I've only cleaned up a bit, and am still doing some deleting both here on the blog and elsewhere. I have been so busy with digital scrapbooking for years, but I've taken a step back, for different reasons. Now I want to focus more on real life stuff and cardmaking. On paper! I do looove digiscrapping and will not give it up entirely, but I guess my "golden years" are over in that department. Sorry! :-) I will be back later with this years card-collection with lots of nice Christmascards. Right now, I just needed to post a little update.

Yes, it is! It is World Cardmaking Day and I am feeling inspired!!! I actually didn't know it was World Cardmaking Day until about half an hour ago, but I felt like making some cards when I woke up today, so that's just PERFECT!

A new candybouquet - with my own design!!

I am working on making Candy Bouquet's on daytime as part of my work training-program, and I was previously asked to design how a totally white weddingbouquet would look like. And I did. That was my first bouquet with my own design! Don't have any photos of that one, but will take a photo of it and show it later. Anyway, I was going to make a bouquet for my mother's birthday and I could make one totally how I wanted it to look like. I think it went really well and it is really beautiful!!

I am not working at the moment, but I do attend a work-training program to get back to work (after being sick for some years). And now we're having a SUPERFUN project there, I just have to show! Here is a little info on the project and some very cool photos:
Since it's restrictions on bringing actual flower bouquets to the hospital (in case of patients with allergies etc), someone really smart has evented candy bouquets! And I am so happy to be working with making these. We've started with some baby boy & baby girl-bouquets now, but this project's got potential! This is my first bouquet, made during our "work out the kinks"-period to find more concrete rules to follow when we make them (how many flowers, how big/small etc). That is something we have to figure out, on behalf of the company behind this bouquets. It's missing a bow and it's a little bigger than we intend to make them, but it's just at a testing-stage now, so we'll figure it out. I can't help looking at them, sooo beautiful, don't you think?:

Puuh! Some work with all those HTML-codes... Going crazy here, seeing signs eveywhere! LOL! I also found out, if I use Firefox I can add smileys to my posts - yeay!!! Too bad it isn't here with Internet Explorer - really like that better than Firefox... :-)
Well, I've used kits by Lily Designs and Irene Alexeeva to make my new blogdesign... Well, hopefully it will be great in the end!

I really looove christmas, and the best part: making cards, giftbags and other sweet, little christmas-scraps! In two weeks I will be having a christmas workshop with some friends and family and I am really excited about that. Listening to some music, talking, laughing, drinking tea and eating gingerbread... Can't hardly wait! And because of that - I've been cruising the shops in my small town in search for gorgeous papers and embellishments... WOW, so much fun that have been! I'm almost dreaming about it! LOL! And today I have been to a christmasfair today and sold cards, and here is several of the cards I've made lately and that I brought for selling... (Spesific credits are coming):
Credits for this first card: Bazill - red paper, Making memories - patterned paper, Papirloftet - flowers (both white and brown on the front page), Prima (flowers on the inside), Panduro - aniseed, 3Q - photocorners, Lene Solhaug Design/Minnehjørnet - photo, Ursus/Panduro - goldleaves, Panduro - acrylic prism, Gütermann - pearls, DMC - moulineyarn, Global hobby & kunst - metalflowers, Panduro - borderstamp, Panduro - embossingpowder, ColorBox stamppad, I think the rubon is from Norsk Stempelblad. Some details on the front page, embrodery by hand. I really enjoy using embrodery - with or without pearls - on my cards. It really gives the card a great lift. I don't know if that song is in other languages though, and it's also a little difficult to translate since it's an old song with old, norwegian words. But it says something like this: "It brightens up in silent neighbourhoods, with sparkeling lights tonight...".A nice Adventcard, with the norwegian words for "Merry Christmas" inside the metalframe. I have made the stars of pearls myself, they are so wonderful! World Cardmaking Day

October 3 2009 is/was (depending on timezone) World Cardmaking Day! In my timezone it's actually 20 minutes past midnight, so it was yesterday. But I wanted to show off some of my latest work. This first is a box made for my brother and his fiancee - made to their engagement earlier this summer! Looks yummy, right? The chocolate, I mean! LOL!

Well, it's been a long time since my last freebiekit, but I am working on one now - yeay! :-D
In the mean time I've been making a template where you easily can make beautiful buttons. It's allowed for commercial use, scrap for hire and personal use - your choice! :-D Use the cuttingmask to hold everything inside the button, use your own papers and maybe some elements or some text for decoration? Use your imagination and I hope you will have some fun!
I have saved it as both psd-file and png-files. And as an extra gift added some buttons - they can also be used CU, S4H & PU! And I will repeat what I wrote with my first CU-freebie: I may change the commercial tou for each time I make a CU-product, depending on what kind of product and if I feel the need for a little change in the tou. Two layouts I'm really proud of - "To my dearest" and "Silhouette in the night".

"To my dearest" is made for a challenge at ScrapScandiStyle. Font used on letter: Floja. "Paper Manuscript" overlay by Thao Cosgrove.

"Silhouette in the night" is not made for any challenges. Font used: "BreastBomb".

I love the fairytale-look, and Lorie Davisons kits is just that (available at Scrapbook Graphics). I have made a couple of layouts made with her stuff from the kits "Walk through the meadow" and "Faerily Moonlit Kit Collection" and in the first kit mentioned she has had some help from Edeline Marta. I have also included a frame from the fairytale-kit "Enchanted Forest" by Madame Mim and Milla Designs (available at CatScrap) in my layout "To my dearest".

I just love these layouts and kits... :)

Photoshop Elements-user?

Are you a user of Photoshop Elements? Me too! About 6 months ago I purchased the program and I am so IN LOVE with it, although I'm looking forward to the day I get Photoshop. Well, when I purchased the program I asked some questions about it in different digiscrapping-forums and I got a link to a very good forum especially for Elements-users. Bad weather...

Bad weather outside - good scrapping-weather inside. Snuggle up in the coach, under a blanket with a cup of cocoa and the laptop... So great feeling!! Only problem is some Internet-connection issues - but I guess that's because of the weather... I can't even see my own blog - but I hope you can though... :-)

Got lucky on a "photoshoot" out in the nature and met this moose! So curious and not so much scared - I got about 25 pictures before she (?) run off into the woods. :-D Click on the top
picture and see the close-up on the faceexpression. I think it was funny - looks almost hypnotized. Hihi ;-)

I am feeling GREAT!!! I've never won a challenge at Scrapbook Flair before, but I finally did! I entered the Desperate Wives-challenge with this layout and won!!! I got 168 points and won by 8 points to 2nd place - which was a beautiful and tough competitor. I am really satisfied with this! I've also won a challenge at Datascrapping with this layout, by the way. :-) So happy and so proud right now! Hihi...

I wanted to use feminine embellishments and paper for this layout - in the spirit of Wisteria Lane. I thought of all the gorgeous flowers, fences and gardens in Wisteria Lane and wanted to reflect that in the layout. I feel that I succeeded in that. :-) And then I thought of the perfect kit to use. I want to give credit to:

Monica Larsen for her wonderful kit "Loving touch". Really recommend that!!!

I've found the pictures on internet, and the layout is mine. :-)

A card I've made for a secret friend-challenge at the Norwegian group "Kortlagerne" on Facebook.

Papers, flowerstamp and eyelets purchased at Gode Minner, flowers and ribbons purchased at Lines Hobby. Stamp of the girl is purchased on Internett, will try to find out more info about the stamps and flowers. I think the girl-stamp is called "Vanessa".

Dreamy summerplace....

I've called my latest layout "Spring" and I've made it by blending together 8 different pictures, and used a couple of plug-ins to make the dreamy look. I've then made a b & w-copy which I've used a handwriting-brush on and put the colour-pic on top - which I've cropped. I've used wire and wire-title from the gorgeous kit of Kjersti AC "Fresh spring", and the bow from her gorgeous "Summerdream"...

The name of this place is "Verdens Ende", in English that means "The end of the world" - gorgeous place in Norway were you can see miles and miles out in the ocean...

My scrapbook "Colosseum" was chosen "Scrapbook of the week" at Datascrapping. I'm SOOOOO excited!!! So wonderful to go in on Datascrapping - and the first thing that I see is my "Colosseum"-scrapbook. I'm really satisfied with it!

Here is my newest layout! Very cool! I've made a template for this layout that I will give to you as a freebie!

The name of the layout is "Regnfull sommer", which means "Rainy summer". Hope you like it!

I am so angry with myself today! I've crashed my car, and this is what it looks like now. I was distracted (? don't know if the spelling is right) for ONE LITTLE MOMENT and CRASH - I crashed into the car in front of me! I'm so STUPID sometimes!!! Grrr...

This is my cousin's little daughter, and I'm her Godmother. This picture did I take in her christening in april 2004. I'm really proud of this picture and I've won a photochallenge with this picture. At Datascrapping and Scrapbook Flair I've made digi-scrapbooks using this picture. Isn't she just adorable??? I love her SO MUCH!!!

Hi! I have several problems with my computer, and it' not working much longer. I was working on a Valentines-freebie for you, but if the computer doesn't work until then - I can't promise you that unfortunately... It almost feels like I've been working 24/7, but that's not (entirely...) true, hehe ;-) I've been making my first kit, but I'm not an expert on making paper and elements - so I hope you can forgive me if it's not perfect. That's the reason I'm just making freebies too, and not kits for selling. :-) Hope you will like this! If you have any tips for me, or anything you want to say about this kit - let me know!
